When the pre-interview jitters kick in and you need to pep talk yourself down.
When the pep talk doesn’t work and you have to go in anyway.
When you shake hands with the interviewer.
When you have to find a comfortable way to sit formally.
When the interviewer introduces themselves to you and goes over a short list of their own accomplishments.
When they ask about your achievements.
When you try to make juuuuust the right amount of eye contact.
“Three words to describe yourself.”
“Why do you want to go to our college?”
That face you make when you’re buying yourself time to form a coherent response.
“Any questions for me?”
When you successfully remember not to say “you too” after they wish you good luck on your applications.
When you finally walk out of the interview.
