If you don’t have a Tumblr account, make one now so that you can waste time reading relatable posts about the human capacity to waste time. I kid you not, this is your life now. (I kid you a little bit.) If you’re applying for college, you’ve already started down a path from which there is no turning back. You might as well relax and enjoy it; Tumblr can help.
College admissions is super stressful, but I guess it’s nice that you don’t have to submit a paper application…
And sometimes you really do hit upon just the right words to say.
And then sometimes you’re like
And you really wish you were writing a paper application because then you could physically throw your essays away.
But hey, you’ve got an idea for a band name, maybe.
And you learn the valuable skill of wishful thinking, without which I personally could not have made it this far.
Another plot twist: the Common Application actually understands you?!
At least someone understands. Because a lot of the time, the whole process can seem confusing and impossible.
It’s a roller coaster of emotion.
And no matter how accurate and eloquent your essay might be…
Sometimes it can be really, really difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
It helps to remember that you literally are the most important part of this whole process. The right college will realize that.
Kinda sounds like I’m consoling someone after a breakup, though. But you know what I mean.
